Our Ambassadors
Millie Boyle
Millie Boyle is a dual-code international for the Australian Wallaroos Rugby Union and Australian Jillaroos Rugby League teams. Despite her successes in these areas, it is her dedication to community work which makes Millie tick, particularly in the disability sector.
Hailing from Cobargo on the New South Wales south coast, Millie initially made her name in Rugby Union after debuting for Australia as a 19-year-old in 2017.
In 2019 Millie made the decision to switch to Rugby League – a sport with strong ties to her family at the professional level – and wasted little time making a similar impression.
Between 2019 – 2022, Millie has won three NRLW Premierships, represented New South Wales in winning State of Origin Series and the Australian Jillaroos at Test level. Concurrently, she starred on popular reality television show SAS Australia, whilst juggling various off-field commitments across the corporate and media sectors.
Having spent her formative years helping to raise her younger sister Hannah, who was born with down syndrome, and subsequent years working as a support worker, program creator and workshop facilitator, Millie’s has a unique ability to connect with participants in such a positive fashion with overwhelming response.
In 2022 Millie – along with her fiancé Adam Elliott – established Trainer Group, a disability education business dedicated to helping participants build confidence, improve their physical fitness, mental wellbeing and get active in the community.
Millie’s achievements as an elite athlete and her advocacy for people living with disability brings a wonderful alignment to our core programs and mission delivery at Foundation#1.
Born in Bega on the New South Wales south coast, Adam played junior football for the Tathra Eagles before being awarded a scholarship to attend famed rugby league nursery, St. Gregory’s College Campbelltown.
A two-time Australian Schoolboy, he signed his first professional contract with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2015 where he played over 100 NRL games, including representative honours with NSW Country and the Indigenous All-Stars, before joining the Canberra Raiders and in 2022 Adam signed with the Newcastle Knights on a long-term deal and quickly fell in love with the Novocastrian community.
A proud ambassador over the past five years for Giant Steps Autism as well as the Autism Community Network (ACN), a charity focused on building strong support for those impacted by autism.
In 2022 Adam – along with his fiancé Millie Boyle – established Trainer Group, a disability education business dedicated to helping participants build confidence, improve their physical fitness and mental wellbeing, and get active in the community.
Adam’s involvement in sport as an elite athlete and his advocacy for people living with disability brings a wonderful alignment to our core programs and mission delivery at Foundation#1.
